The PhD student of the Robesafe group from UAH Eduardo Romera Carmena has won the prize for the best article prepared by a student at the Intelligent Vehicles Symposium Congress (IV 2017) held between June 10 and 14 in Redondo Beach, California (USA ), for the work entitled 'Efficient ConvNet for Real-time Semantic Segmentation' .

Congress IV is an international reference where researchers, engineers and students from industry, universities, research centers and government agencies are invited to present their latest research work on smart vehicles . It is sponsored by the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS) and in its 2017 edition, 297 works by authors from 30 different countries were presented. Attendance exceeded 400 participants.
